Terms of Service

1. Who we are

NitroSearch is a hosted search service provided by NitroSearch (“we”, “us”), operating as a sole trader based in England & Wales, United Kingdom . Our business address is Busbridge Gardens, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 1XQ, United Kingdom .

2. The service

NitroSearch provides hosted search for WooCommerce stores: we index your catalogue into our search engine and serve fast, typo-tolerant search to your shoppers. You’re responsible for your WordPress site, your store content, and keeping your account credentials secure.

3. Plans, billing & cancellation

The free plan is available at no cost up to its product limit. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and payments are non-refundable. Our billing promise forms part of these terms: no per-search metering, the advertised price is the charged price, and going over your limit never breaks search.

You may cancel at any time. On cancellation your paid plan continues until the end of the current paid period; after that your store returns to the free tier, and following a short grace period your index is trimmed to the free-tier limit. Your live storefront search is never switched off.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t use NitroSearch to index unlawful content, to attempt to access other tenants’ data, to probe or attack the service, or to resell it without our agreement. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other customers at risk.

5. Your data

You retain all rights in your store data. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum, using the subprocessors listed.

6. Availability & changes

We work to keep the service available and fast, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may improve or change features; where a change is material and adverse, we’ll give reasonable notice. Critically, billing or plan changes never take a live storefront’s search offline.

7. Liability

The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, and our total aggregate liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period or £100.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate for material breach of these terms. On termination we delete or return your data and reduce the search index to zero, subject to legal retention.
